Who this policy covers
PropRank is operated by Liteway LLC. This policy describes data handling for the PropRank website, iPhone app, account features, alerts, research tools, and related support communications. A linked prop firm, trading platform, Apple, Google, or other third party has its own privacy practices.
Questions and privacy requests can be sent to support@proprank.com.
Data we collect
Account and profile data
When you create or update an account, PropRank may receive your email address, password verifier, display name, optional phone number, preferred contact method, trading experience, marketing choice, onboarding answers, account timestamps, and the Terms and Privacy versions you accepted with the database-recorded acceptance time and signup surface. PropRank does not add an IP address or browser user-agent to that legal-consent record. Passwords are handled by the authentication service and are not available to PropRank staff as readable text.
If you sign in with Apple or Google, that provider returns account identifiers and the profile details you authorize it to share. Face ID is evaluated by iOS on your device; PropRank stores only whether you enabled the local app lock, not biometric data.
Saved activity, alerts, and push delivery
PropRank stores saved preferences, onboarding matches, alert subscriptions, delivery channels and severity, notification history, and related account activity. If you enable iPhone push notifications, it stores an Apple push token, random app-install identifier, platform and environment, app version, locale, last-seen time, and whether that installation is active.
Content and communications
Reviews may include your public display name, rating, title, text, provenance choice, and publication time. Public review fields are visible to other visitors when published. Support messages, correction submissions, and administrative intake can contain your email address and anything you choose to send.
When you use Ask PropRank AI, the service sends your question, a limited recent conversation history, and relevant profile preferences such as market, holding style, priority, and experience to generate a source-grounded answer. Do not put passwords, brokerage credentials, or other sensitive data in a question.
Usage, diagnostics, and attribution
When configured, PropRank uses privacy-limited product analytics with a random browser or app-install identifier, event name, time, page path without its query string, and scrubbed feature properties. The web analytics code honors browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals and is configured not to collect the visitor IP address. Optional error reporting can include an error message, stack trace, request method and path, app environment, and device diagnostics needed to investigate a failure.
A creator referral code can be kept in a first-party browser cookie for up to 90 days and associated with an account. Affiliate-link records can include the link and offer clicked, campaign parameters, a click identifier shared with the affiliate network, signed-in account identifier when present, time, destination, referrer, browser user agent, country, and a one-way salted hash of the network address. PropRank does not store the raw network address in that affiliate-click record. Affiliate networks may return conversion and revenue information.
Public research data
PropRank's research system reads public sources such as official firm websites, help centers, terms, and linked source pages. It stores extracted facts, source URLs, supporting excerpts, freshness data, and review decisions so published claims can be checked. This research is about firms and their public rules; it is not intended to identify PropRank visitors. A person's data can enter this system if they submit a correction, support message, or public review.
How we use data
- Authenticate accounts, secure sessions, and provide requested account features.
- Save preferences and deliver email, push, or in-app alerts that you enable.
- Operate rankings, comparison, research, reviews, challenges, and source-grounded AI features.
- Answer support requests, correct research, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures.
- Measure feature use without advertising profiles and attribute creators or affiliate referrals.
- Maintain security, enforce service rules, keep records, and meet applicable obligations.
Sale, advertising, and affiliate links
Liteway LLC's current practice is not to sell personal information for money or use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. PropRank does use affiliate links and may earn compensation when you click, register, purchase, or otherwise qualify with a partner. That compensation does not add a charge for using the link and does not change PropRank's published score, ranking rules, or research claims.
Browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals disable the optional web product-analytics bootstrap. You can also avoid affiliate attribution by not using an outbound affiliate link, although the destination may still receive a normal request if you visit it directly.
How long data is kept
Account, profile, preferences, active alerts, and associated content are generally kept while the account is active or the feature is needed. Published reviews remain until you delete them, they are moderated, or their linked account is deleted. Authentication and hosting providers may keep security logs and backups under their operational schedules.
- Inactive push tokens linked to an account are scheduled for removal after 90 days.
- Legacy unclaimed and inactive push-token records are scheduled for removal after 30 days.
- Terminal sent, failed, or suppressed notification-delivery records are scheduled for removal after 90 days.
- The first-party creator-referral cookie expires after no more than 90 days.
- Private AI-advisor quota buckets are scheduled for removal after two days.
Affiliate clicks, conversions, support records, security records, and de-identified or aggregated research may be retained as needed for attribution, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute handling, service integrity, or legal compliance. Deleting an account removes or disconnects account-linked data according to the database rules; some affiliate records can remain without the account identifier.
Your choices and requests
Account screens let you update available profile and contact fields, marketing choice, alerts, push settings, and your own reviews. You can disable notifications in PropRank and in iOS Settings, remove saved alerts, sign out, or reset your password. Apple and Google provide separate controls for access granted through those providers.
A signed-in member can download a private JSON copy of their allowlisted account data from the web account page without putting personal data in a download URL. The export excludes passwords, raw push and device-attestation secrets, sponsor redemption codes, staff-only fields, and other members' identities. From iPhone, use that same web account page or email support@proprank.com for an assisted copy.
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of account data, email support@proprank.com from the account address when possible and describe the request. Liteway LLC may verify the requester's identity and may retain limited data where needed for the purposes described above. Rights can vary by location; contact support if you want to exercise a right available where you live.
Security and policy changes
PropRank uses access controls, row-level account permissions, encrypted network connections, limited service credentials, and abuse controls designed to protect data. No internet service can promise perfect security. Use a unique password, protect your email account, and report suspected account access promptly.
This policy may be updated as PropRank's features or providers change. A revised version will show a new effective date on this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the service when appropriate.
