IDENTIFIED RESEARCH CRAWLER
How PropRank reviews official prop-firm websites
PropRank indexes public pages from a firm's official website and help center so every published rule can point back to the page that stated it.
WHAT WE READ
Public official pages, including linked support documentation
The crawler discovers same-organization pages through navigation links and published sitemaps. It prioritizes rules, pricing, payouts, legal terms, product details, leadership, and company history. It does not sign in, submit forms, enter checkout, or attempt to access private customer data.
SITE CONTROLS
We identify ourselves and do not evade a refusal
Requests identify PropRank and link to this page. The crawler follows bounded request rates, honors applicable robots directives, and records a blocked page as unavailable instead of disguising itself or bypassing access controls. Conditional requests are used for later checks so unchanged pages do not need to be downloaded again.
CORRECTIONS AND ALLOW-LISTING
Tell us when a source is wrong or your site blocks review
Firm representatives can send an updated official source, request a correction, or ask about allow-listing the crawler at support@proprank.com. Include the firm name, affected URL, and the specific claim to review.
PropRank keeps automated findings in review until a human approves them. Commercial relationships do not change a score or determine which source wins.
